There is nothing worse than a Texas summer. It’s true. I love almost everything about living in Texas, but if I told you that our summers are tolerable, that would just be a flat out lie. It’s hot here. Hotter than hot. And then you add in the humidity… y’all … I can barely make it from the house to the car without melting. But, luckily for us, the100 degree days usually don’t start until July. Right now we are in prime Texas weather!
If there is nothing worse than our summers, it’s equally true that there is nothing better than our spring! Maybe we just really know how to appreciate the spring. We know that come July we’ll be trapped in our houses with our bored kids ALL SUMMER LOOONG, so while it’s nice outside you better bet we are going to suck up every second of this gorgeous weather. There are SO many great things to do in Texas in the spring! I’ve compiled a list of a few of my favorite outdoor activities that are going on in and around McKinney in the month of June. I hope to see you at some of them!
