McKinney, TX really is one of the best places to live, work and raise a family! As I continue to showcase some of the local businesses that make our town unique, I thought it would be fun to let my boys “work” with me! Jax, one of my 7 year old twins, ALWAYS wants to learn about business. In his playroom he has a desk with an electric typewriter on which he’s writing the next great American novel. And top on his summer to-do list is starting his own blog. So he was only TOO excited to get to help me with telling everyone about Mom and Popcorn, one of our favorite sweet spots in downtown McKinney!
Mom and Popcorn has over 50 flavors of popcorn, my personal favorite being the McKinney Blend. If you love a salty/sweet combo, you will love this half jalapeño, half caramel blend! But, in my opinion, the real fun of the store is looking at all the vintage nostalgic candies they offer! It will take you straight back to your childhood! I think a gift bag of candies from a specific decade would make a great gift for a milestone birthday!
